24 Month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment Opportunity

Hackney Council's Employment, Skills and Learning services lead the Council's work to create and oversee high-quality employment-related opportunities for Hackney residents, be that apprenticeships, traineeships, work placements, or other opportunities, both with the Council as an employer, and with businesses in the borough.
This post holder will be providing in-work support to all apprentices on the Council's award-winning apprenticeship programme, to ensure that they are able to sustain their apprenticeship, and progress from it into a positive outcome.
We are looking for someone who is a great communicator and is passionate about supporting people, while also able to challenge constructively. You should have knowledge and experience of providing IAG and engagement techniques resulting in successful outcomes, and a successful track record in caseload management. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter with a 'can-do' attitude who is looking for the next step in their career.

You will be working closely with colleagues in Employment, Skills and Learning to play a key part in achieving transformative outcomes for Hackney residents.
