Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AWS & Python Developer to design, implement, and support scalable, cloud-based solutions using AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Redshift) and REST API integrations.
This role will primarily involve Knowledge Transition (KT) absorption, application support, and mentoring internal teams to build long-term in-house capabilities.
The ideal candidate is hands-on with both development and production environments, adept at optimizing data pipelines, automating processes, and integrating systems efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Transition & Support
Lead KT absorption from client or development teams, ensuring complete understanding of existing architectures, configurations, and workflows.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of technical and functional knowledge for internal use.
Provide Level 2/3 support for AWS-hosted applications and data pipelines, including incident management and root cause analysis.
Participate in hypercare and stabilization phases post-deployment to ensure operational continuity.
AWS & Python Development
Design, develop, and maintain AWS-based solutions leveraging services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and Redshift.
Develop efficient Python scripts for automation, data ingestion, and REST API integrations (using boto3, requests, pandas, etc.).
Implement and monitor ETL pipelines for structured and unstructured data ingestion into Redshift or other data lakes.
Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless data and system interoperability.
Optimize data performance, manage storage costs, and ensure scalability and reliability of solutions.
Collaboration & Team Enablement
Mentor and guide junior developers and data engineers to strengthen AWS and Python skill sets.
Conduct code reviews, KT sessions, and internal workshops to upskill the support team.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Data, DevOps, and Business) to deliver stable and scalable solutions.
Promote best practices in cloud cost optimization, security, and CI/CD automation.
