Experienced AWS & Python Developer skilled in designing, implementing, and supporting scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, Redshift) and REST API integrations.
This role involves Knowledge Transition (KT) absorption, application support, and mentoring team members to build sustainable in-house capabilities. The ideal candidate is hands-on with both development and production environments, capable of optimizing data pipelines and integrating systems through secure, efficient APIs.
Key Responsibilities
• Knowledge Transition & Support
o Lead KT absorption from client or development teams, ensuring full understanding of existing architecture, configurations, and workflows.
o Document technical and functional knowledge in structured formats for internal knowledge repositories.
o Provide Level 2/3 support, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis for AWS-hosted applications and data pipelines.
o Participate in hypercare and stabilization phases post-deployment to ensure smooth operations.
• AWS & Python Development
o Design, develop, and maintain AWS-based solutions leveraging EC2, S3, Lambda, and Redshift.
o Write efficient Python scripts for automation, data ingestion, and API integrations using libraries such as boto3, requests, and pandas.
o Implement and monitor ETL pipelines that integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple systems into Redshift or other data lakes.
o Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless data and system interoperability.
o Optimize data performance, manage storage costs, and ensure scalability of solutions.
• Collaboration & Team Enablement
o Mentor junior developers and data engineers to build strong AWS and Python development capabilities.
o Conduct code reviews, KT sessions, and internal training workshops to upskill the support team.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data, DevOps, and business) to deliver stable and scalable solutions.
o Promote best practices in cloud cost optimization, security, and CI/CD deployment automation.
