AI Development Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION DETAILS:
The AI Development Manager will be responsible for leading the strategy, design, and implementation of AI-powered solutions across TNG's platforms and services. This role involves managing cross-functional AI teams, overseeing machine learning model development, driving automation, and ensuring seamless integration of AI capabilities into business processes.
As a key leader in TNG's technology organization, this individual will be responsible for guiding research initiatives, ensuring scalable AI deployment, maintaining compliance, and aligning innovation with business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the planning, development, and implementation of AI/ML strategies to enhance TNG's products and services.
Manage, mentor, and grow a team of AI engineers, data scientists, and software developers.
Oversee machine learning model lifecycle management -- from data acquisition and feature engineering to training, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define AI opportunities and ensure alignment with business goals.
Drive the integration of AI solutions into TNG's digital infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Establish and enforce MLOps practices for continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring of AI models.
Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and ethical AI practices.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies, tools, and frameworks to maintain TNG's competitive edge.
Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for AI initiatives while ensuring efficient project execution.
Serve as the AI subject matter expert and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in AI/ML development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
Proven track record of successfully deploying machine learning or deep learning solutions in production environments.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with major AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
Strong understanding of data engineering, cloud-based AI platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and model deployment pipelines.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving AI initiatives from conception to production.
Preferred:
Master's or Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
Experience with Generative AI (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face) and LLM-based solutions.
Knowledge of MLOps frameworks such as Kubeflow, MLflow, or SageMaker.
Familiarity with financial services, fintech products, and compliance-driven environments.
Certifications in AI/ML or cloud-based AI solutions.
