Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) to lead the design and implementation of AWS Control Tower and Landing Zones, automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and GitHub Actions, and support enterprise cloud modernization initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on AWS expert experienced in building secure, scalable, and automated cloud environments, with a strong background in Infrastructure-as-Code, DevSecOps, and enterprise-level cloud transformations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and AWS best practices
Implement and manage multi-account environments using AWS Control Tower and Landing Zones
Lead migration from traditional server architectures to serverless frameworks (AWS Lambda, ECS, etc.)
Architect and deploy Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) solutions such as Amazon WorkSpaces or AVD
Automate infrastructure and CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions
Manage and support Linux and Windows systems in AWS
Configure and optimize core AWS services (EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, ELB, WAF, Lambda, Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN)
Collaborate with development teams (Python, Angular, React) to align infrastructure with app needs
Monitor and optimize cloud performance, security, and cost efficiency
Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure, architecture, and procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Cloud Infrastructure or DevOps Engineer in enterprise environments
Proven experience implementing AWS Control Tower and Landing Zones
Strong proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts
Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation
Experience with Desktop-as-a-Service (Amazon WorkSpaces or AVD)
Proficient in Linux and Windows administration in cloud setups
Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, ELB, WAF, Lambda, Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN)
Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Professional preferred)
Bachelor's degree required (mandatory for FTE conversion with client)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud migrations or building greenfield cloud environments
Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and compliance standards
Scripting and automation experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Familiarity with Angular, Python, and React
Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
