We're searching for a Senior Cloud Engineer III to lead large-scale cloud engineering initiatives within a modern AWS environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who excels in cloud architecture, automation, DevOps, and AWS platform engineering. You'll partner with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to design secure, scalable cloud solutions while driving innovation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize secure cloud architectures on AWS
Lead development and enhancements across AWS cloud platforms
Develop IaC automation using Terraform and Ansible
Design and deploy Kubernetes-based containerized solutions
Maintain cloud infrastructure security aligned with best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve production and deployment issues
Conduct architecture reviews and propose system improvements
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
Support cloud migration initiatives including Citrix to AWS WorkSpaces
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field
5+ years hands-on cloud engineering or DevOps experience
Proven expertise designing AWS cloud platforms (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda)
Strong knowledge of VPC, subnets, routing, firewalls, WAF, and load balancing
Deep understanding of cloud security (IAM, KMS, encryption, Zero Trust principles)
Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation
Strong scripting experience (Python, Bash/Shell)
Experience with AWS WorkSpaces and Citrix migration
Preferred Skills
Experience in scalable distributed cloud systems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, ELK)
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
