Summary:
We are seeking a mid-senior level Procurement Category Manager II to lead sourcing initiatives for CyberSecurity and AI software categories. The role involves developing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, executing complex negotiations, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. This position requires strong commercial acumen and operates with moderate supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Category Management
Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business goals
Analyze spend data, market trends, and supplier landscape
Manage full procurement lifecycle (RFI/RFP/RFQ, negotiation, contracting)
Supplier Management
Identify and qualify suppliers
Lead supplier selection and performance reviews
Foster innovation and ensure compliance through strong partnerships
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Business Units
Provide guidance on procurement best practices
Contract Management
Negotiate and draft contracts
Manage renewals, amendments, and compliance tracking
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
Monitor KPIs and recommend process improvements
Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
5+ years in procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing
Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills
Experience in CyberSecurity and AI software procurement preferred
Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office 365
Familiarity with tools like iProcurement, Apttus, Fieldglass is a plus
Pay Range: $30/hr to $40/hr
