We're looking for a motivated Quality officer to join us in building world class customer focused software. In this role, you will be a technical influencer in our quality team who needs to grant into technical testing knowledge. You will join a squad composed of Business analysts, Developers, Project Manager and Quality Officers. Your profile must be technical oriented with a passion for the testing.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Actively participate in planning and estimating testing efforts for finance-related projects.
Execute tests in alignment with approved test plans and deployment schedules.
Design, implement, and execute test cases, procedures, and suites in collaboration with development teams.
Review existing QA processes and propose continuous improvements.
Contribute to the development of robust and scalable backend test automation solutions.
Collaborate with technical and business teams to solve complex issues.
Work closely with IT Architects and Product Owners to define and apply effective testing methodologies in an agile environment.
Create relevant datasets to support test scenarios.
Participate in defining and executing test strategies based on functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Maintain consistent and suitable QA environments to support testing activities.
Monitor and report on functional and non-functional QA metrics.
Ensure clear communication of quality-related information across the organization.
Strive for near-zero defect leakage into production.
Stay up to date with QA standards and industry trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent with a strong technological component.
Fluent in French and English.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong organizational and communication skills.
Solid understanding of test management principles, frameworks, tools, and QA methodologies.
Detail-oriented and structured.
Team spirit, resilience, and perseverance.
Autonomous and proactive mindset.
Experience in backend test automation.
Knowledge of APIs and web service technologies (REST/SOAP).
Familiarity with test management tools.
Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Awareness of CI/CD principles and Azure DevOps (conceptual level).
Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud environments.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Experience with JIRA, Confluence, ReadyAPI (Groovy scripting), and Postman.
Experience in performance testing.
Experience with Elastic and Grafana for logs and resources monitoring.
ISTQB certification.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Scala).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies.
