Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join a leading Life Sciences organization, replacing a current consultant. The role focuses on leveraging expertise in Systec tools and contributing to industrial automation projects within regulated environments. You will support ongoing and upcoming projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards (GMP, FDA, GAMP5) while enhancing the efficiency and reliability of automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the Systec tools expert within the automation team.

Lead or support automation projects in both production and laboratory environments.

Ensure adherence to GMP, GAMP5, and other relevant Life Sciences regulatory requirements.

Develop, test, validate, and document automation solutions.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, validation, QA, and IT.

Provide technical troubleshooting and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Mentor and guide junior engineers or team members as needed.

Profile

Profile / Requirements :

7+ years of senior-level experience in automation engineering within the Life Sciences sector.

Proven hands-on expertise with Systec (mandatory).

Strong knowledge of automation systems such as Siemens, Rockwell, DeltaV, or equivalent.

Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks: GMP, FDA, GAMP5, CSV.

Capable of managing the full project lifecycle: design, implementation, validation, and documentation.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent English communication skills; French or Dutch is a plus.

Education

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
