Job Purpose

The Senior Commissioning Specialist works in the construction field and handles the commissioning stage of a project in accordance with the project and company policies and procedures. Ensuring work is deliver on time, with the engineering requirements, quality specifications, supervising the Commissioning Specialists and Contractors during all the Project duration. Leading the hand over to the final Client.

Main Scope/Responsibilities

Actively participating and communicating the Safety expectation that zero accidents is the only acceptance result of work performed.
Participate and produce deliverables during CRR4 (Completion/Commissioning Readiness Review Checklist, Lead the replication of the JSTEPS across all aspects of the project to maximize the benefits along the project life.
Supervise staff, Contractors, Vendor, licensors to ensure the works, contract terms and conditions are fulfilled and the Commissioning is performaed in accordance with the plans, specifications and standards.
Create synergy and trust within the entire team including but not limited to suppliers, contractors, and the Client Project and operations teams.
Build a strong relationship based on trust and communication with the customer to allow for the easy resolution of issues.
Leads his Commissioning Specialists in terms of training, coaching as well as career development. Additionally, he has administrative responsibilities for performance reviews, time sheets, mobilization and demobilization.
Participate and promote best practices by developing and implementing turnover, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and preservation processes and systems considering and including: contractual requirements, project and construction schedule, reliability, maintenance, materials management and change management.

Education

Engineering degree and/or a Construction diploma
