Internship Program Highlights:

Onboarding: Connect with your cohort, receive support, and set up for success in your first week
Intern Bootcamp: Role-specific technical and professional skills learning, both in-person and virtual, delivered in your first week to help you get set up for success
Meaningful work and projects: Interns join a variety of Expedia Group teams and directly contribute to business workstreams and priorities; at the conclusion of the internship interns present their work to team members and senior leadership
Learning Series: Interactive workshops delivered by our Learning team to build professional & soft skills, and support development, including topics such as personal branding and presentation skills
Leadership Series: Exclusive intern-only events with our Travel Leadership Team leaders to learn about their career journeys, hear their views on industry and company trends and ask questions!
Social events: Regular fun events organized for each regional cohort so you can get to know others, enjoy the Expedia Group culture, and enjoy some downtime!
Mentorship: Mentors are assigned to each individual intern to support your development and learning throughout the program and are also a great way to build your understanding and network at EG.
Support: Coaching and advice, provided by managers, team navigators (buddies) and a specific point of contact per region from Emerging Talent & Careers.

In this role you will:

Travel transcends mere arrival at a destination; it involves making an immediate impact on reimagining travel. On your journey, you'll learn the application of analytics capabilities, principles, and playbooks to address well-defined business challenges and identify opportunities. Your lead will offer close guidance and support throughout this process. Whether collaborating with internal partners or conducting AB tests on hypotheses, Expedia Group offers abundant opportunities for technical innovation - the possibilities are boundless!

You'll be developing Statistical, Visualization & communication best practices and skills
You'll identify partner teams' key problems, prototype solutions, and help solve business problems using statistical analysis and tools
You'll provide ad-hoc analysis and use visualization techniques to communicate insights and recommendations
You'll leverage hypothesis testing to help drive key business solutions
You'll gain a good understanding of our domain (i.e. travel, e-commerce) & business goals and become a data specialist
You'll partner with sales, product, data engineering teams to implement sustainable analytics solutions

Minimum Requirements:

Must be available to commit to the full program dates: June 22 - August 28, 2026
Must be graduating with an undergraduate or integrated master's degree in a technical subject (.g. Math, Statistics, Data Science) between December 2026 and July 2027
Must be willing to relocate to city of job location if outside commuting distance
Must commit to full time hours every week
Must be graduating from university in the same country of internship location
Must have no more than 2 years of professional experience in a similar role

Preferred Experience

Helpful to have good analytics skills and be self-motivated
Helpful to have effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of partners (e.g., internal, external, technical, non-technical people)
Helpful to have skills in SQL, Tableau, R, Python are a bonus for data transformation and analysis
Helpful to have familiarity with basic visualization principles such as la
