If you are a proven, high-achieving sales professional who has mastered the tactical level and is now prepared to own the growth agenda for a major market, this is your opportunity.

As the Regional Director, Business Development, you will transition from transactional selling to strategic market capture across the high-potential mid-market and strategic account landscape in Ontario. Your core mandate will be to leverage your established track record to identify, prospect, and land transformational new business, driving significant revenue and expanding Randstad's footprint.

This role is based out of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), offering the autonomy of the road combined with access to our local offices and senior leadership.

What you get to do:

Successfully prospect and generate revenue from regional accounts at the highest level (President, CIO, CTO, Senior VPs, etc.) through regular executive calls, visits, executive presentations, and delivery of top-tier value added programs.
Develop new threads of revenue and increase overall revenue growth through new account penetration.
Responsible for attaining overall revenue goals, increasing account share, developing high level business contacts and relationships, achieving margin and profitability goals.
Executive management of prospect account activities, coordination of city-level Account Managers, and assert complete ownership of the overall prospect relationship at designated national accounts.
Develop recruitment strategy for prospective clients with an emphasis on developing an integrated approach to recruitment.

What you need to bring:

Proven sales history of hunting, qualifying and closing new logos in the human capital and staffing solutions industry
Recent experience working in the professional (F&A, Business Admin) and/or operational (skill trades, M&L, engineering) verticals
3+ years of demonstrated B2B business development and/or client account expansion success in the GTA market with exposure to complex and long sales cycles
Proven success in a very fast-paced, team environment
Agility to fully leverage all processes and technology tools to more productively deliver results
Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills
Ability to make decisions, take direction, and execute a plan

What's in it for you:

Hybrid work environment with the opportunity to invest time with the local branches and customers
Competitive base salary and incentive plan, including auto allowance
Wellness spending account and an ergonomic reimbursement program to equip your home office
Randstad has been named one of Canada's Best Workplaces by Great Places to Work for more than 10 consecutive years, and one of the Best Workplaces for Women
3 weeks paid vacation in your first year, plus additional care days and corporate holidays
Work in a fast-paced atmosphere, where every day is different and the challenges are varied
The chance to progress within an authentic, supportive and growing organization
A collaborative and participative leadership style, invested in your success
