The Marketing Communications Specialist plays a key role in developing messaging and executing on critical communication projects as assigned. The Marketing Communications Specialist will also support the coordination and deployment of content across multiple channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.

This role primarily focuses on advisor communications, making it ideal for a skilled communicator with advanced writing and editing abilities, as well as hands-on experience in crafting and executing high-quality communication material.

In addition to core communication responsibilities, this position offers the ideal candidate an opportunity to broaden their experience and build new skills by supporting leaders across the Wealth Experience team. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a variety of projects that support the delivery of business goals.

What You Will Do

Write and edit communications for critical operational business updates for newsletters, email campaigns, and events.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and translate business needs into clear, actionable messaging ensuring consistency with organizational voice and tone.
Develop and execute on communication plans for assigned projects.
Support the production and deployment of communications across various corporate communication channels, maintaining accuracy, consistency.
Ensure all content adheres to brand standards and style guidelines, manage and maintaining processes and best practices for SEO, accessibility and AODA standards.
Contribute to assigned marketing communications initiatives and cross-functional projects to support the broader team.
Gather data and reports on communication initiatives, analyze and evaluate findings, make recommendations for improvement.
Co-manage mailing lists, translation requests, and content archives.
Publish and maintain content on the corporate intranet and blogs.
Co-manage shared mailboxes and triage requests to appropriate teams.

What You Will Bring

5+ years of experience in communications, ideally within a complex organizational structure.
Post-secondary degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Media/Marketing Communication.
Industry knowledge, particularly in financial services/dealer marketing & operations, is a strong asset.
Advanced proficiency in email marketing platforms and content management systems.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Word.
Proficient in social media platforms and community management
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Knowledge and familiarity with using or working on various content management systems.
Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Responsive, proactive, and a self-starter with a collaborative mindset.
Moves fast without sacrificing accuracy, timelines or quality of work.
Able to follow and maintain consistent writing and visual guidelines.
Resourceful and agile--able to pivot as business needs evolve.
Able to search out and identify key sources of information from business partners.

The base salary for this position is between $56,000 - $ 83,900 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
