As the Software Engineering Manager, you will:

Lead and Develop a Team:

Manage and support a distributed engineering team working on both frontend and backend technologies, including React and .NET.
Build a collaborative environment that encourages team communication and career growth.
Mentor developers to achieve individual goals while promoting software engineering best practices.

Provide Technical Guidance:

Design and implement complex architectures with a focus on scalability, functionality, and performance.
Oversee API development to ensure seamless integration between services.
Drive continuous improvement in code quality and maintain high standards across both frontend and backend development.

Collaborate Across Teams:

Work closely with leadership, QA, DevOps, and product management to align on project goals, requirements, and timelines.
Foster strong partnerships across design, mobile development, and support teams to address customer challenges effectively.

Stay Focused on Customers and Products:

Ensure deliverables meet customer needs by prioritizing quality and usability at all times.
Actively seek ways to innovate and provide value for customers.
Champion a culture of excellence in software engineering practices, including test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

The ideal candidate should have:

Leadership Experience: Prior experience managing or mentoring teams highly preferred, but senior engineers or tech leads ready to take on leadership are encouraged to apply. Ability to drive team success and foster a positive, healthy workplace is key.
Technical Expertise: 5+ years in software engineering, with strong experience in C#, .NET, React, RESTful APIs, SQL. Hands-on skills with services-oriented architecture and performance optimization are desirable.
Strong Communication Skills: Proven ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across teams and time zones.
Strategic Mindset: Track record of balancing technology tradeoffs with business needs and delivering on deadlines without sacrificing quality or team morale.
