Strategy Analyst

Toronto, ON (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)

6-Month Contract | Immediate Start

We're assisting our client, a global leader in investment management, in the search for a Strategy Analyst to support a key business unit on a 6-month contract period. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in business strategy, analytics, and competitive research who enjoys driving insights and partnering with senior leadership.

What You'll Do

Lead and execute business strategy and market research projects supporting key initiatives.
Conduct complex data and competitive analyses, defining the approach, scope, and methodology for each project.
Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations and presentations for senior management.
Stay up to date on industry and competitive trends, identifying emerging opportunities and risks.
Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align strategy and execution.
Contribute to white papers, business cases, and strategic presentations.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in business strategy, management consulting, or analytics within financial services, banking, investment management, insurance, fintech, or other corporate strategy environments.
Strong skills in data interpretation, problem-solving, and business storytelling.
Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, able to translate insights into clear strategic recommendations.
Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline (MBA or Master's preferred).
