About Us

BORDEAUX plus is a multidisciplinary Urban Planning and Design Consultancy based in Canada, working internationally on projects that integrate sustainability, livability, and forward-thinking urban design.

We are expanding our presence into new global markets and seeking a dynamic Communications Manager & Business Development Lead to strengthen our brand, lead client engagement, and support international partnership development.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will combine strong communication, strategic, and relationship-building skills with a deep understanding of how design and planning services operate in the public and private sectors.

You will work closely with the Managing Director (Canada) to position BORDEAUX plus for new opportunities, manage stakeholder relationships, and enhance our professional visibility.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement communication and marketing strategies across digital and professional platforms.
Lead business development initiatives -- identifying opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships.
Prepare bilingual (English-Arabic or English-French) company profiles, presentations, and proposals.
Represent BORDEAUX plus in meetings, online forums, and partnership discussions.
Coordinate outreach, visibility campaigns, and international branding activities.
Support contract negotiations and assist with client communications and proposal management.
Prepare periodic reports and briefs for management on outreach performance and opportunities.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing.
5+ years of experience in communications, PR, or business development (preferably in architecture, planning, or consulting sectors).
Proven ability to communicate across cultures and manage high-level professional relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in a second language (Arabic or French) is an asset.
Strategic thinker with strong organization, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Comfortable working independently and across time zones in a collaborative, international environment.

Compensation & Terms
Contract Type: Part-time or fixed-term (6-12 months, renewable)
Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience
Start Date: Immediate
