Job Specifications

We are looking for a Medior System Engineer with at least 4 years of experience in complex infrastructure environments to serve as a bridge between Development teams and external Service Providers. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of infrastructure, platform management, and DevOps practices, and can play a hands-on role in troubleshooting, incident analysis, and collaborative problem-solving. This role requires strong technical breadth, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to challenge decisions from both internal developers and external vendors to ensure robust, scalable, and compliant infrastructure solutions.

Profil Candidat

REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Profile 4+ years of experience as System/Infrastructure Engineer.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with developers and external providers.
Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and proposing improvements.
Technical Skills
Proficient with Windows & Linux systems, basic understanding of container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience in CI/CD, Git, and scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and hybrid environments. Good understanding of application infrastructure needs (e.g., Java, .NET platforms).

Working knowledge of networking (firewalls, VPN, segmentation) as part of broader infra.

Soft Skills :
Can challenge decisions from both internal and external stakeholders respectfully.
Excellent problem-solving skills: able to contribute to troubleshooting across stack.
Strong communicator, able to mediate between technical and non-technical roles. Comfortable with hybrid collaboration (on-site + remote).
LANGUAGES Dutch English
Brussels - Hybrid - on-site 2 days a week
