Job Specifications

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong operations mindset who thrives at the intersection of development and infrastructure for a public sector client.

In this role, you’ll design, automate, and manage deployment pipelines while maintaining high availability and reliability across hybrid systems. You’ll play a key role in bridging development, QA, and operations, ensuring that software delivery is fast, secure, and predictable.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build and release automation.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to optimize delivery workflows.
Automate repetitive or manual tasks using Ansible, Terraform, and scripting.
Manage and monitor on-premises infrastructure (Linux, KVM).
Maintain and tune containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement security and compliance controls in line with NIS2 requirements.
Troubleshoot deployment, performance, and infrastructure issues.
Evaluate and integrate new DevOps tools to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
2–5 years’ experience in Linux system administration (RHEL or similar).
Proven experience with CI/CD automation and DevOps practices.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or SQL.
Experience with Oracle or Postgres databases.
Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Git Actions.
Fluent in French and Dutch, with working knowledge of English.

Nice to have

Experience with JBoss or other Java-based middleware.
Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault, Grafana, or Argo CD.
Exposure to Azure Cloud (primary) or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Understanding of NIS2 compliance or related security frameworks.
