At Cavara Marketing & Advertising Agency, we believe brands deserve more creativity, more impact, more connection. Based in Ontario, Cavara is a fast-growing agency specializing in video content rooted in strategy, with a mission to create stories that move people and grow businesses.

We're looking for a Freelance Videographer in Ottawa who can collaborate with us on a per-project basis. This is not a full-time role. Instead, you'll become our priority call for upcoming shoots, helping bring creative concepts to life through compelling visuals and on-set excellence.

If you have an eye for storytelling, love capturing authentic moments, and thrive in dynamic production environments, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

* Shoot Cavara video productions on a project-by-project basis

* Capture high-quality footage for brand videos, ads, and social content

* Collaborate with the producer, director, and creative team to achieve the visual vision

* Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment confidently

* Ensure footage meets Cavara's creative and quality standards

* Support post-production with organized media and shot notes

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience in video production, cinematography, or content creation

* Strong technical knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting, and sound

* Creative eye and strong understanding of visual storytelling

* Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented when called for a project

* Based in Ottawa or within a reasonable commuting distance

Nice-to-Haves

* Experience with editing or color grading

* Photography skills

* Bilingualism in English and French
