Job Title: Security Professional
Location: Norfolk, VA, USA
Clearance: Active Secret or equivalent (mandatory)
We are seeking a certified Security Professional with proven experience in government, defense, or classified environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in information assurance, security accreditation, and risk management, with the ability to advise senior leadership, conduct audits, and implement protective measures for sensitive projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide subject matter expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and security accreditation.
Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk analyses aligned with DoD and defense standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with leadership, technical teams, and stakeholders on classified projects.
Support incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance reporting.
Maintain documentation and communicate complex security risks to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's in Information Security, IT, or related field
Certifications: CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent
Experience with security accreditation processes and risk management frameworks (RMF, NIST, ISO 27001)
Proven track record in classified defense or government projects
Strong skills in security governance, compliance, auditing, and documentation
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
Active Secret or equivalent clearance (mandatory)
