Wargame Specialists: Event Planner, Designer, Analyst & Scenario Coordinator

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Location: Norfolk, VA, USA

Security Clearance: Secret (or equivalent national level)

Open Positions

Event Planner

Plan and deliver events and exercises (venues, IT, security, transport, registration, VIP/DV support) for 50+ participants.
Manage rehearsals, vendor coordination, on-site operations and after-action capture.

Wargame Designer

Create game rules, mechanics and structures; author design briefs; lead playtests and validation cycles.
Translate sponsor objectives into coherent, testable game designs.

Wargame Analyst

Design and implement Data Collection & Analysis Plans (DCAP); execute quantitative and qualitative collection.
Produce daily analytical outputs, final reports and briefings for leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality outputs that integrate with the wider team.
Participate in design workshops, playtests, rehearsals and after-action reviews; document lessons.
Produce concise written products and oral briefings for project leadership.
Ensure compliance with information security and data-handling procedures.
Liaise with stakeholders and third-party vendors as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Eligibility for Secret (or equivalent) security clearance.
High proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Bachelor's degree (4-year university degree).
Minimum 5 years' relevant hands-on experience.
Ability to work in multinational/multi-stakeholder teams.
