Location: London, Birmingham or Glasgow (Hybrid - 1 day per month onsite, plus quarterly 2-day planning events in Birmingham)
Contract Length: Until End of July 2026 with potential extension
Day Rate: Up to PS750 (Inside IR35)
Clearance: Active Home Office SC required
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to support a major Home Office programme. This role will see you take full ownership of service delivery across managed service contracts, ensuring performance, quality, and customer satisfaction. Acting as the key point of contact for the client, you'll work across internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive service excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the delivery of managed services against agreed SLAs, budgets, and quality standards.
Act as the client's primary point of contact for service delivery, building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Produce service reports and manage incidents, problems, and change within the service.
Oversee subcontractors and third parties, ensuring delivery meets performance and quality standards.
Lead service reviews and chair service review meetings.
Provide escalation support, mobilising specialist teams or resources when required.
Drive service improvement initiatives and develop recovery plans where necessary.
Ensure financial health of the contract, managing revenues and costs within budget.
Collaborate with account managers and senior leadership to identify opportunities for further service enhancements.
Participate in the Service Delivery Management out-of-hours rota as required.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven track record in Service Delivery Management within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Strong knowledge of service performance monitoring, SLA management, and reporting.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
Experience managing third-party suppliers and subcontractors.
Strong financial and commercial awareness with experience managing budgets.
Active Home Office SC clearance (essential).
