Job Summary:

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an IT Application Development Intern to support key technology and business initiatives across the organization. This internship provides hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams to enhance digital systems, document business processes, and contribute to technology-driven strategic projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn how technology supports business operations in a dynamic financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support Business Analysts in documenting existing business processes and system workflows.
Assist in creating technical documentation, data definitions, and process maps.
Research emerging technologies and tools relevant to ongoing initiatives.
Maintain and update application information to ensure data accuracy.
Prepare presentations and reports for business cases, executive reviews, and quarterly updates.
Contribute to special projects tied to strategic initiatives, which may involve digital channels, loan systems, CRM platforms, or mobile and online banking applications.

Qualifications

Current undergraduate or graduate student with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
Field of study in Information Technology or IT Program Management.
Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently on assigned projects.
Strong team collaboration and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

Coursework or exposure to business, accounting, finance, or economics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience with application or software systems is a plus.
