The Opportunity

You'll be joining a high-performing Platforms team responsible for designing, building and evolving a modern, automated infrastructure supporting global trading systems. The environment combines on-premise, private, and public cloud (Azure/AWS) technologies, leveraging best-in-class tooling and automation frameworks.

Over recent years, the business has invested heavily in containerisation, observability and CI/CD modernisation. The next phase focuses on scaling automation, standardisation and reliability across all environments.

Collaborate with developers and operations to streamline CI/CD pipelines and platform delivery.
Enhance system reliability, observability and performance using modern tooling and telemetry.
Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the firm's hybrid cloud strategy.
Drive innovation through automation and process optimisation.

Core Skills & Experience

Essential:

Proven experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role.
Expertise with Ansible, Terragrunt, Python, and Groovy (Jenkins pipelines).
Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code and version-controlled workflows.
Exposure to peer review and collaborative development environments.

Desirable:

Knowledge of Kubernetes (on-prem and managed), AWS/Azure, and Linux/Windows automation.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity and repository managers like Nexus or Artifactory.
Experience with observability stacks, such as Prometheus, ELK, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger.
Awareness of Kafka, Redis, and network automation.
Interest in chaos engineering and resilience testing frameworks.

About You

You're a methodical and analytical engineer who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact environments. You balance technical precision with a pragmatic approach to delivery, always seeking opportunities to innovate and improve.

Collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning are essential.

Why Apply
