Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Southlake, TX

Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own and optimize CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure reliable, scalable delivery of containerized services. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about cloud-native platforms, automation, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do:
Own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications, defining rollout/rollback strategies and quality gates
Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure using Terraform (networking, compute, containers, and data services)
Troubleshoot container runtime issues and collaborate during image promotion and deployment windows
Implement reliability practices: runbooks, operational readiness, incident response, and post-incident reviews
Enhance observability and change safety with metrics, logs, alerts, feature flags, and database change strategies
Lead system recovery efforts and respond to real-time alerts to maintain service stability
What You Bring:
5+ years in DevOps, Platform, or Cloud Operations roles with strong AWS and Linux experience
Expert with Docker and 12-factor containerized services; experience with ECS (Fargate or EC2)
CI/CD mastery with GitHub Actions or Bamboo, including pipeline design and environment promotion
Hands-on experience with Terraform at scale, scripting in Bash/Python, and networking fundamentals
Strong communication skills for collaboration with SRE, Release Management, and cross-functional teams
Experience in production change management and post-deployment monitoring
Preferred:
Experience with Kubernetes, ECS, or PCF/Tanzu
Observability stacks (metrics, logging, tracing) and incident retrospectives
Database change automation and safe configuration strategies (feature flags, toggles)
