Who We Are
Harrier are a fast-growing direct-to-consumer trail running brand, built on a passion for the outdoors, performance, and community. Our mission is to redefine what runners expect from their gear--delivering premium products, authentic storytelling, and a brand that inspires adventure. As we enter a new and exciting phase of growth, we are looking for a seasoned marketing leader to elevate our brand, sharpen our positioning, and drive growth in the fast growing trail running sector.
The Role
As Director of Brand & Marketing, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the brand vision across all touchpoints--building a world-class identity and community presence. You will set and own the strategic and creative direction of the brand, lead integrated marketing campaigns, and ensure measurable impact on awareness, engagement, and customer growth.
This is a rare opportunity to join at a pivotal stage, where you can make a tangible mark on the future of the brand. Along with building and leading a team that's just as passionate about big ideas as they are about measuring impact.
What You'll Do
Shape the brand: Own and evolve what we are passionate about through our voice, look, and feel across every touchpoint.
Tell the story: Create campaigns and content that inspire runners and make noise within the trail running community.
Build community: Grow our loyal base of trail runners through events, ambassadors, industry partnerships, and killer content.
Mix brand + growth: Connect the dots between storytelling and sales to keep our momentum rolling.
Lead the team: Hire, manage, coach, and inspire a talented crew of in-house and freelance staff.
Stay curious: Keep an eye on culture, sport, and the outdoors to make sure we're always ahead of the curve.
Measure what matters: Use data and insight to prove what's working (and kill what's not).
Who You Are
8+ years in brand/marketing roles, ideally with experience in D2C, outdoor, lifestyle, or sports brands.
A confident brand-builder who knows how to create cultural relevance, not just ads.
Comfortable balancing creativity with commercial thinking -- you can dream big and deliver results.
Experienced in community-led marketing, partnerships, and ambassador programs.
A natural leader who can inspire and motivate a team.
Someone who thrives in a high-growth, roll-your-sleeves-up environment.
Bonus points if you live and breathe trail running or outdoor adventure.
What We Offer
A chance to build a brand with global ambitions at a seriously exciting stage.
A culture that values creativity, curiosity, and adventure.
Competitive pay + performance bonus + benefits.
Potential equity for the right person.
And of course, plenty of chances to get out on the trails.
To apply please include your CV along with a cover letter.
Closing date for applications Sunday 26th October midnight. Shortlisted interviews expected to take place week commencing 3rd November in Manchester.
