Role Description
The Senior Market Research Analyst plays a critical role in turning consumer data into strategic guidance that shapes how brands grow and communicate.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility to work from home part of the week. You'll lead and support end-to-end research projects -- from survey design and data analysis to insight storytelling and client presentation. The role requires both analytical precision and strategic curiosity, as you'll help uncover what drives consumer choice, trust, and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Lead or support all phases of quantitative and qualitative research (questionnaire design, programming, analysis, reporting).
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling stories.
Develop reports and dashboards that highlight key findings and recommendations.
Support the development of hypotheses, frameworks, and storytelling for client deliverables.
Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance methodologies and analytical tools.
Stay attuned to market, category, and consumer trends to inform future research direction.
Qualifications
Core Skills & Experience
3-5+ years of experience in marketing or consumer research, ideally within an agency or insights consultancy.
Strong foundation in survey design, data analysis, and insight storytelling.
Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics tools (SPSS, Q, Tableau, or similar).
Understanding of brand strategy, innovation testing, and consumer segmentation.
Demonstrated ability to transform findings into strategic implications, not just charts.
