Digitally Native Personal Care Brand is looking for a Product Manager
This person will l manage the full lifecycle of their personal care products, from ideation and development to testing, compliance, and customer care. This role is equal parts product innovation, quality and regulatory oversight, and cross-functional collaboration. This person will serve as the go-to expert on product knowledge, manage supplier and certification relationships, and ensure the products meet the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and customer trust
What You’ll Do
Customer Care & FAQ Ownership
Act as the main point of contact for all product FAQ information, ensuring clear, accurate communication internally and externally.
Equip CX and Marketing teams with updated product knowledge, ingredient transparency, and claims substantiation.
Resolve escalated product-related customer tickets and identify patterns to inform product quality improvements.
New Product Development (NPD)
Lead ideation, validation, and launch of new personal care products
Manage sourcing and supplier/manufacturer relationships with a focus on safety, sustainability, and transparency.
Oversee FDA medical device registration and listing for applicable products.
Ensure all products align with customer values and sustainability goals.
Testing, Quality, and Compliance
Manage product testing protocols (absorbency, safety/biocompatibility, stability, microbiological).
Maintain traceability documentation and recall readiness protocols.
Partner with external labs, regulatory consultants, and certifying bodies to ensure product safety and compliance.
Packaging & Claims
Own packaging development, balancing sustainability, storytelling, and compliance.
Ensure FDA/FTC compliance for labeling, safety information, and claims.
Substantiate and maintain all product claims
Certifications & Partnerships ? Lead certification processes and partner relationships, ensuring renewals and compliance with:

USDA Organic / GOTS
OEKO-TEX Standard 100
ISO 13485 (if applicable)

What we are looking for
Own partnerships with mission-aligned organizations, such as 1% for the Planet and menstrual equity NGOs.
Lead pursuit of B Corp Certification Commercial Fit
Use customer and community insights to guide decisions around SKU mix, pack sizes, pricing, and channel strategy (DTC, retail, wholesale, healthcare).
Partner with sales and finance to align customer needs with margin and revenue goals.
Preferred 3–6+ years in product development, customer experience, or regulatory/compliance in CPG, healthcare, or personal care.
Preferred working knowledge of FDA regulations for medical devices.
Experience with supplier and certification body relationships.
Project management expertise to move products from concept ? testing ? launch efficiently.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate regulatory/product details into customer-friendly messaging.
Salary based on Experience but between $110,000 and $140,000
