Title: SC Cleared .NET Engineer
Salary: Up to £55,000 D.O.E
Location: Remote First (Occasional travel)
iO Associates is working with a Central Government organisation that's delivering a major digital transformation programme, and they're looking for a .NET Software Engineer to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact public sector projects, using modern .NET technologies within a secure, cloud-first environment. The role is fully remote (UK-based) with flexible working and long-term potential.
Key Skills & Experience:
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework
Hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Familiar with HTTP methods, status codes, and API security best practices
Experience with Azure Services (App Services, Functions, Storage, SQL Database)
Skilled in Azure DevOps - source control, CI/CD pipelines, build & release management
Understanding of OAuth, JWT, and securing APIs & data encryption
Solid experience writing unit and integration tests (xUnit, NUnit, etc.)
You'll be joining a team that values clean, scalable code and collaboration, while working on digital services used by millions across the UK.
