Position Overview
The Systems Analyst II is a technically skilled professional responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of IT systems and infrastructure. This role is key to ensuring the stability, performance, and security of enterprise systems. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on technical expertise to design scalable solutions, resolve complex issues, and support operational objectives. Collaboration with engineering and support teams is essential to maintain system integrity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, evaluate, and optimize existing IT systems and infrastructure to enhance performance and efficiency.
Implement, configure, and support IT solutions that align with technical requirements and future growth.
Partner with IT support and engineering teams to maintain system uptime, performance, and reliability.
Administer and manage user accounts, security, and distribution groups within Active Directory.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving hardware, printers, computers, and network devices.
Provide technical guidance for customized software, hardware, and infrastructure requirements.
Monitor and maintain critical network services such as DNS, DHCP, VoIP, and cellular telecom systems.
Assist in the setup, configuration, and testing of server operating systems, application software, and system tools.
Ensure all systems comply with established standards, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Uphold best practices in information security, data integrity, and system reliability.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on effective, data-driven solutions.
Proficiency in Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and telecom system administration.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and Cisco UCS infrastructure.
Working knowledge of Fortinet firewalls and Cisco Meraki networking hardware.
Familiarity with Veeam backup and replication software.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to proprietary applications and evolving technologies.
