Join Our Growing Team as an IT Support Analyst Intern!
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Intern to join our dynamic IT team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT operations, troubleshooting, and customer support within a large enterprise environment. This role involves providing technical assistance to internal users at headquarters, as well as remote and branch office staff across GardaWorld’s network

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 / hour
Work Site Location: On-site; St. Louis, MO
Set Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work.

Your Responsibilities
Provide technical support by responding to user inquiries via the ticketing system, email, or in person. Troubleshoot common issues such as login difficulties, software errors, printer malfunctions, and connectivity problems.
Assist with workstation setup, including operating system installation, user account configuration, and peripheral connections (e.g., monitors, keyboards, and printers). Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning hardware, applying updates, and replacing faulty components.
Install and configure approved software applications and ensure systems remain current with security patches and updates. Offer user assistance with basic application functionality and troubleshooting.
Support IT asset management by tracking and labeling equipment, maintaining inventory records, and assisting with periodic audits of laptops, mobile devices, and accessories.
Assist with account administration, including user creation, password resets, and access management in systems such as Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise platforms.
Document support activities by maintaining accurate records of requests, resolutions, and system modifications. Contribute to internal knowledge bases and end-user guides.
Participate in IT initiatives and projects, such as system upgrades, network enhancements, and cybersecurity improvements. Support project phases including testing, documentation, and deployment.
Engage in learning and collaboration by attending team meetings, shadowing senior technicians, and sharing ideas to enhance support processes. Communicate effectively with users and team members to ensure timely issue resolution.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, mobile devices, and common software applications.
Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate within a team environment.
Eager to learn, take initiative and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
Authorized to work in the United States
Able to pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screen.
