We are looking for a Finance Manager who shares that energy. Someone who wants to roll up their sleeves, grow with us, and help build the financial engine behind our next stage of growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the heartbeat of MOTIF’s financial operations, ensuring the numbers run clean, the systems flow, and the insights keep us sharp. You’ll manage the day-to-day while helping innovate how we think about finance. You’ll start by doing the work, then evolve into leading it.
Your responsibilities will include:
Handling all bookkeeping, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP)
Managing payroll and health benefits
Approving vendor bills and managing vendor relationships
Partnering with leadership to identify financial patterns, trends, and opportunities
Building systems that make our finance operations efficient, accurate, and scalable
Helping design and eventually lead a small but mighty finance team
Collaborating cross-departmentally with sales and operations on invoicing, billing, and reporting
Supporting month-end and year-end reporting
Who You Are
You’re not a “corporate accountant.” You’re sharp with numbers but you care about growth, innovation, and helping shape how we do things, not just reconcile spreadsheets in a cubicle.
You might be our person if you…
Have 3-5 years of accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks Online experience is a plus)
Understand AR/AP, payroll, and general ledger operations
Are detail-oriented but can zoom out to see the big picture
Love systems, optimization, and making things run better
Have a growth mindset, eager to learn, experiment, and evolve
