Now Hiring: SQL Server Database Administrator (Hybrid – Lansing, MI)

We’re seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator with a strong background in Azure SQL and high-availability environments to join our team on a long-term engagement through September 2027.

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – 2 days in office per week)

Local Candidates Only: Must reside within 90 minutes of Lansing, MI

Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server databases (SQL Server 2016 and above).
Design and implement HA/DR solutions such as Always On Availability Groups, geo-replication, and point-in-time restore.
Manage and optimize Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and SQL Server on Azure VMs.
Ensure database security through Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and compliance best practices.
Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
Support database-related automation and migration initiatives in cloud and hybrid environments.
Top Skills & Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on experience in SQL Server Database Administration.

Strong expertise with Azure SQL and hybrid cloud database environments.

Proven background in implementing and managing HA/DR solutions.

Proficient in Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and security best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Interview Process
Onsite interviews will be conducted in Lansing, MI.
