Our client, a $4bn global leader in water solutions, spanning water coolers, water vending, water softeners, hot/cold water taps and filtration systems for the office & home, is seeking a strategic Brand & Marketing Comms Manager to re-energize and revitalise its B2B brand in the UK. This role offers a once-in-a-career opportunity to lead marketing in a dynamic business and category, making a real and meaningful impact, transforming water quality to improve lives and protect the planet. At work, it keeps teams hydrated and performing at their best in offices and commercial spaces; in public spaces, its water vending machines and bottle-filling stations improve access to cleaner, safer water while reducing single-use plastic waste.
Position Overview
As the Marketing Programs and Brand Manager, you will define and execute the brand strategy aligned with the annual commercial strategy. You will leverage brand and category assets across new product launches, product verticals and trade channels, leading the yearly brand and comms planning process. This position is central to accelerating the company's growth journey, with the autonomy to make a measurable difference. What you’ll be doing from Day 1
1⃣ Building the Brand and Communications Strategy
Defining and executing the brand strategy to re-energise the company’s brand in the UK
Leveraging brand & category assets through the funnel across new product launches and channels
Leading brand & comms planning - messaging strategy, campaign calendar & target segmentation
Developing a test & learn program to open new channels, test messaging and creative and refine audience targeting
Leading the development of CRM, nurture and retention planning and overseeing execution
Planning and leading Account Based Marketing campaigns in collaboration with Sales, working closely with KAMs
Working with lead generation agencies to define campaigns, required outcomes and monitor performance
Defining the vent strategy, setting targets and working with sales, product, digital & social to achieve goals
Working with Digital lead to support asset creation for digital/social media, web content and thought leadership
As appropriate, localising global platforms to fit the needs and ambitions of the UK business
Managing creative agencies and working with the internal creative team to ensure high-quality deliverables
2⃣ Driving Growth Through Insight and Performance Tracking
Monitoring campaign performance KPIs (awareness, market share, lead volume) across lead and lag metrics
Using insights & analytics to drive improvements, identify growth levers, and adjust course when needed
Being the Voice of the Customer, leading local consumer research and analysis
Collaborating with Global and EMEA Centre of Excellence CBS teams to gather competitive intelligence
3⃣ Creating and Delivering Integrated Marketing Campaigns
Building collateral and messaging assets for new product launches and commercial activations
Leading integrated campaign planning and execution across digital, social, events & off-line
Localising and activating global campaigns with creativity and relevance
Collaborating with other Business Units and Centres of Excellence to share best practices
Owning the brand marketing budget and tracking ROI on all major activities
Prioritising resource allocation based on strategic impact and performance data
4⃣ Embedding Brand Standards Across the Organisation
Acting as a brand champion internally, providing guidance and training on brand principles
Ensuring brand consistency across all customer touchpoints and internal departments
