Operations Officer (KYC)

Location: Montagne du Parc 3, 1000 Brussels

Hybrid work: 50% on-site / 50% remote

About the Role

The KYC Operations team is responsible for:

Onboarding new clients according to KYC policies.
Performing periodic reviews (recertification).
Conducting ad hoc reviews when new risk factors are identified.

To support these activities, we are looking for an Operations Officer (KYC) to strengthen the team.

Key Responsibilities

Apply and monitor compliance with KYC policies and procedures.
Manage client and branch requests through to completion.
Validate and update client data using internal and external sources.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Front Office, Relationship Managers, Compliance) and external parties.
Enter, update, and maintain accurate KYC information in systems.
Identify and escalate irregularities or risk deviations.
Provide clear advice and propose alternative solutions where appropriate.
Stay up to date with relevant KYC regulations and procedures.
Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with various IT tools.
Knowledge of KYC processes is an asset.

Languages

Dutch: Good (written, spoken, understanding) – Mandatory
French: Good (written, spoken, understanding) – Mandatory
English: Good understanding – Nice to have
