Senior Business Analyst (App & Web Focus) – Freelance

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a customer of ours for a long-term freelance mission. The consultant will support a range of ongoing digital projects focused on mobile applications and web platforms, with particular emphasis on the mobile app experience in a B2C context.

The role involves gathering and validating business requirements, performing functional analysis, and working closely with UX, development, and QA teams. Key initiatives include improving search functionality, enhancing user journeys for trading/investing features, and supporting the rollout of a chatbot functionality.

The selected consultant will work within an agile product environment, collaborating with product owners, designers, and developers to deliver front-end-facing improvements aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for mobile and web platforms
Translate user needs into functional specifications focused on UX and front-end functionality
Collaborate closely with product, design, and development teams in an agile environment
Validate proposed features and improvements with internal stakeholders
Support functional testing efforts, contributing to quality assurance and delivery readiness
Participate in the design and optimisation of app-based trading/investing features
Support chatbot integration and related process enhancements
Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital customer journeys

Profile

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
Proven experience with mobile apps, web front-end projects, and digital platforms
Solid understanding of UX and customer journey design
Functional testing and QA support experience is a strong asset
English-speaking, with knowledge of French/Dutch

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: 12 months (extension possible)

CONTRACT: Freelance

LOCATION: Leuven

HOURS PER WEEK: 40
