Project: The Technical Service Team seeks a Project Manager 2 or Senior Project Manager to support program development and execution, provide oversight of complex projects, act as a subject matter expert both with regard to certain sectors as well as building energy efficiency, supervise and mentor team members, and perform other tasks at the direction of the Team Lead.
30 people – focus is on clean energy information, clean energy improvement
2 programs – 1 FlexTech; 2 – Onsite Energy Manager (Funding Energy Manager)
Oversee FTE PM 1 PM 2 – (75 – 100 Projects) so no more than 50 projects this person needs to get assigned out of (FlexTech – 75% – 25% Onsite Energy Manager)
Consultants – engineering analyst, analysis and bring customer into this program
Looking for Energy Efficiency program; technical assistance, non-single-family customers (Multifamily & C&I focus only)
People management; staff management; 2–5 staff manage, PM experience, customer/community communication, customer pools explanations, bring new projects that make sense.
13-14-17th IV – early Jan start.
3–5 years experience in Energy Efficiency, experience in program development 7–10 years ideally.
Review workload, projects, a lot of customers and consultants communication, final deliverables, HVAC background experience needed the most, pending items to review, project gaps and tasks and assignments.
ASANA integration (PM activity), Excel basics (data sets, data manipulations).

A Senior Project Manager (or Project Manager 2) who can:
Lead and manage complex technical assistance programs within the Technical Services Team.
Oversee program development, project execution, staff mentorship, and stakeholder coordination.
Act as a subject matter expert in building energy efficiency and related sectors.
Key Skills & Requirements
Technical & Program Expertise
Strong background in energy efficiency, particularly in commercial, industrial, institutional, or multifamily markets.
Proven experience with program development and execution in energy efficiency or sustainability sectors.
Project Management
Skilled in scope, schedule, and budget management.
Experience managing contractors, consultants, and program support agreements.
Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities independently.
Leadership & Mentorship
Experience managing or mentoring staff and leading cross-functional teams.
Ability to motivate, organize, and develop junior team members.
Ability to manage and develop relationships with internal teams and external partners/stakeholders.
Skilled in report writing, presenting, and representing the organization in meetings or conferences.
High-level Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis).
Experience with Salesforce, SharePoint, NEIS, and Tableau.
Bachelor’s degree (required).
Bonus Qualities
Experience developing PONs/RFPs and supporting business process improvements.
Familiarity with program reporting, continuous improvement, and stakeholder coordination.
