We’re Hiring: Senior Kotlin Developer | Contract | Location: New York | Hybrid

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Kotlin Developer to join our team in New York (Hybrid).

This role involves building and enhancing enterprise-level applications using Kotlin, developing real-time data pipelines, and transforming business requirements into scalable, high-performance tech solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications using Kotlin

Build and optimize data pipelines with streaming tools like Kafka

Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs within a microservices architecture

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment

Integrate and optimize relational and non-relational databases

Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, deployments, and testing

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production to ensure stability and performance

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

5+ years of backend development experience with Kotlin / C#

Deep understanding of REST & GraphQL APIs and microservices architecture

Expertise in Kafka or similar data streaming platforms

Experience with relational & NoSQL databases

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Location: New York (Hybrid)
