About You

You are an experienced and motivated software developer or engineer with a passion for solving complex technical problems. You have a solid foundation in modern development technologies, such us HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET/C#, Node.js, React, and Python.

You approach challenges with a solutions-focused mindset and have experience in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams. You are equally capable of working independently or with others, and take pride in delivering high-quality, reliable software.

Your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities make you well-suited for a fast-paced research and innovation environment. You’re open to learning, enjoy sharing your knowledge, and are ready to contribute to impactful projects that make a difference.

A technical test might be required after the interview.

About The Department

WMG is a vibrant, cutting-edge research institution at the University of Warwick, one of the world’s leading research and education groups with state-of-the-art technologies. WMG hosts one of the seven centres for High Value Manufacturing (HVM) Catapult.

The Safe Autonomy Research Group at WMG are undertaking a programme of research and engineering across the verification and validation of automated transport (land, air and marine). From fundamental research, to applied research, the development of policy, standards and regulation, and direct commercial research. Our programme of work is having a material impact on the creation and application of novel safety assurance methods across emerging technologies, influencing international standards, policy and industrial methods. We are proudly enabling a new wave of technological progress by working with partners worldwide through our projects funded by Innovate UK, Horizon Europe and commercial industrial partners.
