We are seeking a Cyber Security Incident Response Consultant to join one our global clients in Belgium for a Long term freelance opportunity to lead the charge against cyber threats by detecting, analysing, and responding to security incidents in real-time.

What You'll Do:

Coordinate and review of playbook updates, incident reports, and cross-team coordination to ensure accuracy, compliance.
Drive the handling of security incidents by defining and assigning response actions to IT personnel and following up on their execution.
Analyse root causes of incidents and recommend technical and procedural improvements to prevent recurrence.
Perform digital forensic analysis on endpoints, servers, network traffic, and cloud environments.

What You'll Bring:

5+ years experience in Incident response.
Experience with (security) incident management in a SOC, CSIRT or IT environments.
Experience collaborating with cross-Functional teams, vendors and stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, forensic tools, and threat intelligence platforms.
