For a logistics customer in Antwerp, I am searching for a freelance Global IT Delivery Manager who will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of complex IT delivery programs across multiple regions and business functions. This role is critical in ensuring the consistent, high-quality rollout of technology solutions that support the company’s strategic objectives in logistics, operations, and customer experience.
Responsibilities
Lead global IT delivery initiatives, ensuring successful end-to-end implementation of applications, infrastructure, and digital solutions.
Oversee a portfolio of projects across regions, aligning technical delivery with strategic business goals.
Manage delivery teams (internal and external) to meet agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate with enterprise architects, business analysts, and product owners to define requirements and technical roadmaps.
Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics for IT delivery excellence.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and dependencies across projects and global stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity, and data privacy standards.
Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, automation, and agile practices.
Serve as the primary point of contact between business functions, IT leadership, and third-party vendors.
Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting for IT investments and resource allocation.
Profile
Seasoned in IT project or program delivery, with at least 3 years in a global or regional leadership capacity.
Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise projects within logistics, shipping, or supply chain industries is a considerable advantage
Strong understanding of systems integration, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications (ERP, TMS, WMS, or CRM).
Demonstrated success managing distributed teams and vendor relationships.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
