Senior Software Engineer (Music Tech/AI) - TypeScript, NestJS, NextJS

Location: West London, 2-3 days a week on site

Salary: £90,000-110,000

We're partnered with a well funded start up within the field of audio technology as they scale their their Founding SWE Team. They're blending music, AI and technology to enhance mental and physical wellbeing. They're exploring novel uses for biometric feedback and AI to positively impact the lives of many within non-surgical and mental recovery.

You’ll ideally be comfortable working across the stack (TypeScript, Next.js, Nest.js, ReactJS and maybe even some Rust) and be instrumental in shaping their Front end, recommender systems and algorithms, architecture, tooling, and engineering culture. This is a unique chance to work hands-on with audio innovation, ML, and cutting-edge wellness experiences, all within a fast-moving, mission-driven startup.

The stage of the business means there's huge room for career progression with opportunities to take the lead on projects, define and design systems, create POC's and work closely with their external clients. They're pragmatic, effective communicators and would like to bring someone in who has experience within startup environments.

Requirements

Experience building software end to end and across the stack with TypeScript
Experience working with ReactJS or similar on the front end
Motivated to work on ambiguous projects with relatively novel challenges
