Job Specifications

Cloud Security Engineer (AWS) - Node.js/NestJS and REST API - Authentication (Auth0, Ping Identity)

Contract - 12 months, upto £650/day inside IR35 ***Hybrid - 3 days office

Leading financial services client is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer and help shape their cybersecurity in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and enhance modern cloud-based cybersecurity services
Implement secure authentication mechanisms (MFA, Passkeys)
Integrate with identity providers such as Auth0, Transmit Security, and Ping Identity
Develop solutions to detect and prevent account takeover attempts
Optimise the efficiency and resilience of cloud services
Drive continuous improvement in technical standards, tools, and processes

Skills and exprience required:

Stong AWS cloud expertise (IAM, networking, ECS/EKS, Lambda)
Strong Node.js/NestJS and REST API development experience
Cloud security principles, including IAM, networking, and encryption
Experience with web services and microservices-based architectures
