Daily Responsibilities:
Project Name: Digital BA Team
Lead detailed requirement phases by identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving business systems issues.
Assess, research, analyze and document sponsor/stakeholder needs in accordance with the Project Life Cycle utilizing reporting tools, and requirements.
Identify, track and resolve business systems issues.
Create or lead the development of detailed level process maps to facilitate requirements gathering, gap analysis and for training use.
Manage project documentation (implementation plan, issues log, process maps, reports, FTE analysis, etc.) and resolves emerging issues at the implementation stage of the project.
Contribute to successful project completion within budget and on time by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies.
Seeks input from the business by facilitating sessions.
Develop strategic training plan associated with introduction of new/ enhanced the business processes.
Provide assistance with business user testing, when required.
Develop and maintain strong relationship with business partners and internal/external team members.
Provide consulting services to business partners on new initiatives.
Identify issues and escalates/manages resolution as required
What program/technology/software knowledge is essential for this role?
Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Specialization in Business, Finance, Engineering, Math or Sciences is desirable.
Business Analyst designation – would be an asset.
3-6 years experience as a Business Analyst.
Experience in all/most facets of project lifecycle; strong comprehension of project management methodologies; genuine commitment to project environment and discipline.
Experience in identifying and assessing key business processes.
Experience in financial services - would be an asset.
Experience in Information Technology field – would be an asset
Must have skills:
Minimum 8-10 years professional BA/BSA experience in a project-based Agile environment. Expert at requirements gathering, documentation, testing and developing high level plans.
Proven experience in Agile methodology
Proven ability to gather Business and Systems requirements independently, having strong business analysis and systems analysis skills.
Solid understanding of system integration concepts and APIs
Comfortable analyzing payloads (JSON/XML) mapping data elements to requirements
Proven experience in Requirements analysis and quality documentation: Scope Modelling, Business Process Modelling, Data Requirements, Business Rules Analysis, Non-Functional Requirements, User Stories, Story Decomposition, and Story Mapping, Acceptance and Evaluation Criteria Definition
Excellent communication skills required; will be working with BU stakeholders and IT stakeholders; Experience facilitating a large roomful of stakeholders (15–20 or more).
Excellent collaboration skills, attention to detail, gap analysis, and ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. Experience working on medium to large projects - over $2 million.
Deep Knowledge of requirements documentation and modeling tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA/Confluence, Mural, Figma).
Nice to have skills:
CBAP
Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis
Prior experience in enterprise level and mobile projects
Past testing experience in API';s using Postman.
Knowledge of current Accessibility standards

Ability to quickly learn organizational structure, business strategies and processes.
Lead discussions on detailed requirement phases identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving business systems issues.
Write clear and well-structured business requirements documents.
