One of the country's leading financial technology companies is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join their Reporting team at their headquarters in Mountain View, CA. This role will focus on maintaining and enhancing foundational data pipelines for self-service analytics, automating critical reporting workflows, and collaborating directly with stakeholders to ensure dashboards are standardized.

This opportunity to develop mission-critical data reporting dashboards at a world-renowned financial leader begins as a 7 month, W2 contract offering competitive benefits, paid holidays, a hybrid schedule, and the strong potential to extend or convert to permanent employment!

What You’ll Do:

Maintain, update, and optimize business intelligence tools, dashboards, databases, and reporting systems.
Automate critical reporting workflows to streamline processes and minimize manual effort.
Ensure timely, consistent refresh of data pipelines with current and seasonal business information.
Generate standard and customized reports summarizing business, financial, and industry data for executives, managers, and stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights through analytics solutions and standardized dashboards.
Analyze industry and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and product development.
Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, and BI tools.
Develop and review technical documentation to ensure accuracy and usability of reporting solutions.
Maintain a repository of reusable assets—including model documents, templates, and knowledge resources.
Stay current on BI technology and business trends by engaging with peers, suppliers, competitors, and industry organizations.

What We’re Looking For:

Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
Expertise in business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Ability to synthesize large volumes of data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
