Luna Data Solutions has an immediate contract position opening (contract term approximately 9 months, with possible extension) for a ServiceNow Developer resource with our public sector industry client located in Austin, TX. *This is a hybrid role, in which this resource will work onsite a few days/month.
Role: ServiceNow Developer
Role Description:
The ServiceNow Developer will work on end-to-end ServiceNow implementations at the client.
Key Activities/Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on configuration, development and integration services and serve in a quality assurance capacity for all project deliverables.
Demonstrate experience with ServiceNow implementations spanning ITIL, ITSM and security/regulatory disciplines.
Leverage knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end automated solutions which include:
User Provisioning process that integrates with internal and external systems
Technical implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes
Workflow customization
Ticketing
Process automation
Report development
Dashboard creation
System configurations
Demonstrate experience building and coding Configuration Management Databases (CMDB).
Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign sessions.
Understand how different ServiceNow modules interact to ensure that configuration done in one area is not negatively impacting other areas.
Share best practices and be consultative throughout the technical design and implementation of the project.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow development, customization, administration experience in ITSM, ITOM, S AM, ITBM and/or equivalent.
Minimum of 4 years of demonstrating excellent communication skills verbally and in writing used when working ServiceNow implementation activities.
Minimum of 4 years of demonstrating excellent communication skills verbally and in writing used when working ServiceNow implementation activities.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with most of ServiceNow ITBM, DevOps, SecOps, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, ITSM, and Change Management Practices.
Minimum of 3 years of working knowledge of ServiceNow User Provisioning, Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, Service Catalog, Email modules, etc.
Minimum of 3 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing integrations inbound/outbound with ServiceNow using Azure AD, Trusted Sources for SSO, Mid server, web services REST/SOAP, email and other relevant technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry and project experience with ServiceNow.
Experience in creating technical documentation including Technical Design, Implementation, and Configuration Plans.
Experience as a ServiceNow System Administrator and/or and possess Implementation Specialist certification.
Experience implementing the Core Process Area s: User provisioning, Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, and CMDB.
Technical knowledge is highly desirable in programming e.g. Java, JavaScript, SQL, etc.
