About The Role

As one of our Front-End Developers, you will be primarily responsible for:

Developing and optimising user-facing features
Ensuring seamless performance
Collaborating closely with designers and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.

The Skills To Succeed

Being able to build, maintain and optimise React/Next.js applications with TypeScript.
Implementing responsive and accessible UI components based on design specifications.
Expertly collaborate with our backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
Produce clean, reusable, and testable code whilst following best practices.
Prior knowledge of how to optimise application performance, including page speed and SEO for SSR/SSG.
Initiative and drive to participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
Work efficiently to streamline development and deployment processes.
Staying up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and frameworks.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer.
Strong proficiency with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, or Recoil).
Familiarity with REST APIs and GraphQL integration.
Knowledge of SSR (Server-Side Rendering), SSG (Static Site Generation), and SEO best practices.
Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.

Boost Your Application With

Knowledge of Docker for containerised development environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Vercel, or similar).
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
Understanding of performance monitoring tools and analytics.
Basic knowledge of Node.js for backend integration.

What We Can Offer You

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Company pension scheme
37.5 hours per week
Company health plan

Hybrid working arrangement (4 days in office, 1 remote)
