We are hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer who is versatile, pragmatic, and product minded. You are comfortable working across the data lifecycle, with one or two areas of deeper strength, and you ship value quickly.
About The Role
Our Data team is small, product-oriented, and obsessed with outcomes. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will own the transformation and modeling layer of our data stack, with a key role in its orchestration and reliability. You will:
Build the Foundation: Translate business logic into clean, tested, and documented data models that serve as the single source of truth for the entire company.
Own the data loop: define metrics, build/validate pipelines, and operationalize insights in product and ops.
Prefer simplicity: use simple modern stack, automation, clear ownership over complexity.
About You
You thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and turn messy problems into shipped solutions.
You are curious and eager to grow. While your core focus is analytics engineering, you're excited by the opportunity to learn and contribute to adjacent areas like data orchestration with Dagster, ML feature engineering, or advanced data visualization and frontend development.
You write clear, tested code; you pair-program and give/receive actionable reviews.
You communicate crisply, optimize for impact over perfection, and validate with users.
Startup/scale-up experience is a plus; mindset > years.
What You’ll Do
Develop, test, and maintain robust data models and transformation pipelines in our data warehouse using dbt.
Build, orchestrate, and maintain end-to-end analytics pipelines using Dagster and dbt, ensuring data is reliable, observable, and delivered on schedule.
Champion data quality, documentation, and discoverability without slowing delivery.
Work closely with business, product, and operations teams to understand their data needs and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
