Intermediate Digital Interaction Designer - Gen AI Driven Applications:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Intermediate Digital Interaction Designer - Gen AI Driven Applications for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Job Description:

The project involves the development of Gen AI Advisor Tools, focusing on advisor-facing digital tools. The role includes providing product design expertise for the launch and enhancement of a Gen AI productivity-enhancement desktop tool for advisors and contributing to initiatives to optimize the advisor desktop workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Provide product design expertise for a Gen AI productivity-enhancement desktop tool

• Contribute to initiatives to optimize advisor desktop workflow

• Understand user interface patterns to drive user comprehension and improve task performance

• Use visualizations and interactions to support analytic thinking with large data sets

• Facilitate design critique and evaluate interactions for inclusivity

• Facilitate ideation sessions and collaborative work activities

• Create complex low-fidelity sketches, wireframes, and prototypes

• Present interaction design work to senior stakeholders

• Facilitate usability testing and participate in research activities

Mandatory Skills:

• BA/BS degree in Design, HCI, CS, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing usable interfaces

• Knowledge/experience in designing interfaces for Gen AI-driven applications

• Experience in a large organization and Agile environment

• Expertise with Figma and Mural

• Expertise with UserTesting.com

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with financial services sector design strategies

• Strong communication skills

• Problem-solving abilities

• Teamwork-oriented

• Knowledge of accessible design practices
