Our client is a highly reputed London-based full-service firm with international reach, ranked in the UK-200 and with multiple Partners featuring in the various directories. Clients are both national and international and include both Corporates as well as SME's and entrepreneurs. The corporate team offers advice across M&A work, private equity, and ECM - IPO/pre-IPO, AIM/AQSE, and international inward investment.
Our client is seeking two distinct yet complementary hires to join the practice in London: one senior partner who can step into full equity position and take a leadership role in shaping the next phase of growth, and one more junior senior, potentially a Senior Associate or equivalent, who already has started to build a following and is ready to step into a Partnership position since the team is continuing their succession planning.
In the senior partner role you will bring a strong existing client following, ideally with a track record in mid-market M&A, private equity or equity-capital-markets work, and will immediately engage in strategic decision-making for the team: helping define and execute the growth strategy, mentoring and developing more junior fee-earners, and leveraging your network into new mandates. You will be joining at a moment of momentum, as the firm is scaling its corporate offering and is committed to investment in the platform and its people.
In the junior Partner role you will likewise have an established client base (though perhaps not yet a full partner-book), demonstrate significant commercial drive and ambition, and be adept at and relish business development aspects of the job.. You will assist in delivering complex corporate transactions - from shareholder and investment rounds, through to structured equity, management buy-outs and cross-border work - and play a key part in the evolution of the team.
